Cherry Ribbon, A History of Excellence 

Cherry Ribbon, formerly trading as A.MacDougall & Company, began life on 5 April 1928, a ribbon shop at 326 Flinders Lane, Melbourne. Our high-quality ribbons sourced from France quickly made our shop a destination for people who needed premium ribbon.  

While nearly a century has passed, our dedication to providing Australians with premium ribbons has not changed. You can now purchase our ribbons alongside our trims, webbings, decorations, and embellishments on our website! We updated our name to Cherry Ribbon to reflect our modern approach to ribbon trade.

Do you have wholesale accounts?

Yes. We offer accounts for those purchasing wholesale ribbon in Australia only. It is free to register for businesses with a valid ABN and you only need a minimum spend of $100 per order before GST and shipping charges.

There are three tiers of wholesale accounts: 

  • Ruby: Enjoy savings from 10% on selected collections
  • Emerald: Enjoy savings from 15% on selected collections
  • Diamond: By special invitation only, enjoy exclusive savings on selected collections

How long will it take for me to get my wholesale printed ribbon?

There are two options we offer for wholesale ribbon purchases.

Quick Deal

Our Quick Deal option is available for wholesale ribbon purchases from 25 meters and is ready in 5 business days. Printed in-house in Melbourne, you can choose from three foil print colours: metallic gold, metallic silver, and black. The foil print has a shiny and flat feel. This option allows for simple wording print or logo print only.

Bulk Deal

Our Bulk Deal option is available for wholesale ribbon purchases from 500 metres and is ready in 20 business days. You can choose from single or multiple colour printing on one or both sides. The ribbon options include:

  • Double-sided satin ribbon
  • Grosgrain ribbon
  • Organza ribbon
  • Flat cotton ribbon
  • Cotton herringbone ribbon
  • Biodegradable ribbon

You can also choose from multiple print options:

  • Screen ink
  • Gold, Silver, Bronze or Rose Gold Screen Foil print
  • Plastisol
  • Thick plastisol
  • Heat transfer print for colourful logos
  • Combination of above print options for more sophisticated logos (Available for 1,000M)
